Engagement & motivation platform
Dot.Dopemine is the ecosystem's catalog of certified engagement mechanics — progress surfaces, recognition, habit scaffolding — each recorded against an acid test before any platform can deploy it. Would we show this to the person it targets, with its intent labeled? A mechanic that fails doesn't get certified. Full stop.
How it works
Catalog
The certified inventory of engagement mechanics — progress bars, milestone recognition, mastery paths — each carrying a recorded acid-test verdict and a revocable certification status.
Gate
Certification isn't a checkbox: the model itself refuses to persist a certified status unless the acid test passed, and refuses to let a deployment start against anything that isn't certified.
Ledger
Every deployment is measured in pairs. Engagement movement is never published or acted on alone — only alongside the outcome metric the mechanic was meant to serve.
What we will not build
It's where our restraint becomes legible to everyone else in the ecosystem. Additions go through Ethics Officer approval; removals require full governance review — deliberately harder than adding.
Dwell time, session count, opens — rewards attention captured, not outcomes achieved.
Manufactures compulsion via loss aversion rather than progress.
Rewards speed over safety and quality.
Slot-machine mechanics — never deployed, blocked at the catalog.
Exploits incompleteness anxiety instead of genuine value.
Part of the Dot Ecosystem
An observation pack pairing engagement movement with outcome movement is publishable. Engagement movement alone is rejected at ingestion — the same prohibited-metric rule applies to us.
Certification and deployment refuse to persist outside the ethics gate — not a validator, a model-level constraint.
The catalog is shared and global; which team is running which mechanic is tracked per team.
Observation, insight, outcome, and incident packs, published to Dot.Brain on a fixed cadence.
A one-time Sanctum token minted elsewhere in the ecosystem logs you straight into your dashboard.
